R Isaacson z”l was a truly rare individual – the level of intellectual honesty he had was just incredible. Many people know what is right, but few were comparable to him in his passionate drive to discover what is correct and then the total commitment to live his life according to his discovered truths, no matter what the cost. We are told to love Hashem בכל נפשך – אפילו אם נטל את נפשך and most often think about this in the extreme case of dying in the love of Hashem. This can be done only once. R Isaacson gave his life in the service and love of Hashem many times – time after time standing faithful to what he knew was correct.
This is something one sees in his amazing children. יהי זכרו ברוך
