Tribute: Na’ama Ben-Meir Modi’in/Israel

Tonight we buried a great man, in my opinion one of gedolay hador.

He had four biological children but many more considered him as their adopted dad.

He was a man that would take you into his home and help you no matter what. He had an amazing heart that never stopped loving and giving even when he had nothing to give.

Rabbi saw everyone as equals no matter their race, colour or gender. In his eyes everyone was God’s creation and deserved equal rights. Rabbi Isaacson fought and stood behind this belief no matter the cost – and the cost was great for him and his family.

Even though he was a great man he never let you feel that he was greater or better then you. When u sat and spoke to him he spoke to you as an equal as you were a dear friend.

Rabbi Isaacson’s house shone with the light of his Tefilla and the light of Torah. He inspired many and wanted to light, show and teach everyone the greatness of God and his Torah. His house was open to all and a home to many.

My favourite time at Rabbi Isaacson was Seuda shlishit. The ruach, spiritual energy, the divray Torah and the singing -wow the singing! I used to sit there and wish it would never end.

For me the way I felt at those seudot is the meaning to “הרחמן, הוא ינחילנו יום שכלו שבת ומנוחה לחיי העולמים”
